The AP&E PWRPACK utilizes the AP&E/ZincFive BC 1000 cabinet that houses 48 NiZn 13-80 HSF batteries which can sustain up to 10 Cp continuous discharge operation, 15 Cp load pulses for seconds, and 2 Cp charge rates. The BC 1000 battery management system coupled with AP&E’s Load Management software give the customer the ability to deliver full power in a Level 3 Charging installation with limited grid sustainability, reliability, and availability.

The AP&E/ZincFive BC 1000 is a flexible NiZn battery cabinet building block for AC peak shaving in electric vehicle (EV) charging, industrial, and utility applications. Options include 750- or 1500-Volt models with 300- or1200-Amps configurations.
